¨O.k. Twilight was bad enough seeing that it looked like a cheesy version of Dawson's Creek infected by Vampires. They will have filmed both 2 and 3 of this movie franchise in less than 9 months and it already shows in the trailer. In fact all of the first 3 movies will have been filmed in 18 months. I would have thought these movies were shit when I was back in High School at age 16. Glad to see a lot of my younger family members age 14 to 22 range all pretty much think Twilight sucks also.
There is no integrity or quality put into Twilight or it appears New Moon either. They look like a TV show being shown in Theaters, not movie quality. Its just a money grab franchise to suck the money out of people who will go drop 8 to 10 bucks on any shit movie they put in theaters. Most of the people I know who have read the books also see that they are not putting any real integrity or true movie making effort into the Twilight movies. Maybe if they put the effort into them like they did with the Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings film franchises it would be acceptable. I saw the trailer for New Moon and it looked like a direct to video or Sci Fi channel quality thrown together crap movie.The Twilight movies are another example of why shit sells in America.
Hollywood knows they can toss out any crap in Theaters, and get money out of the 13 to 21 age group. Which statistically are the most gullible age group to get suckered into wasting their money. The Twilight franchise is a complete embarrassment to Vampire history in movies, and in general.¨
